The starlets aren't used to starring alongside women in their films — so they admit working together was a real treat!
Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel became fast friends while filming their new romantic comedy Valentine's Day which hits theaters Feb. 12. The two leading ladies sat down with Marie Claire magazine for their March issue which will be available on stands Feb. 9 to talk about why they clicked! "We don't work with a lot of women on our films," admits Jennifer. "So it was great to have Jessica around."
This isn’t the first time that Jen, 37, has gushed over her new BFF. When Jessica, 27, graced the February cover of Vogue Jen revealed to the mag, “She’s incredibly girly and warm and open,” says Jennifer. “All of the things she seems to buck against when she’s looking at roles. The first scene that I did with her, she was drunk in the scene. It’s hard to play drunk, not to over do it. But she did it in such a subtle, real, kind of pathetic but very, very deeply funny way. I was, take one, totally impressed.”
Jessica also has a deep admiration for her co-star. “I look at you, Jennifer, and I am a bit in awe,” she confesses to Marie Claire. “I feel like all my seconds are full all day long, and then I look at your life, and I wonder how you do it. How do you have it all?”
But when asked if Jessica is ready to start a family of her own with beau Justin Timberlake she is quick to say, “I’m just happy with my life right now.”
