Jessica Simpson may have subpar dental habits, but don't feel too bad for her. After a series of high-profile romances, she may now be rebounding with Oscar-nominated Hurt Locker star Jeremy Renner! US Weekly reports that Simpson has been seeing Renner "on the sly for months," and a source says the two were spotted together during the wee hours in Washington, D.C., last weekend.
While in the nation's capitol for the White House Correspondents' Dinner, Simpson also reportedly found herself in an awkward situation when she allegedly bumped into NFL star Tony Romo (with whom the Price of Beauty star had a very public breakup in 2009) as he was also in town -- along with none other than his new significant other.
US Weekly reports that Simpson, 29, spotted Romo, 30, with his new squeeze, beauty queen Candice Crawford at the Bloomberg/Vanity Fair after-party for the formal dinner. Witnesses say the former couple were "tense" and "uncomfortable" when their paths crossed.
Things may have been most awkward for Crawford, 23, who was meeting Simpson for the first time. "Candice didn't say much," a source recalled of the encounter.
