Photo: Jessica Simpson Shows Off Her New Baby (and Dishes About Breastfeeding!)

Jessica Simpson revealed the first photos of baby Maxwell Drew in the People magazine that hits stands on Friday. In the issue, the Fashion Star mentor says that "life has completely changed" since she and fiancé Eric Johnson became parents.

"From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!" she said, adding "We stare at her all the time....We can't get enough!

It also sounds like breastfeeding is going well for the new mama, who says that it's hard when she has to miss a feeding. "It's the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her," says Simpson. "I miss holding her and having that closeness."

While nursing a newborn is an around-the-clock activity (Simpson hit the nail on the head when she said, it's "a full-on job"), it's also an incredible bonding time. And pumping breast milk is a great way to let Dad in on the action (and give Mom a break!).

So, congrats, Jess, on figuring out the earliest weeks of breastfeeding (which can be a bit of an extra challenge when you've had a c-section) -- and we can't wait to see you out and about with little Maxi.
