While singer-actress Jessica Simpson may be willing to bare a lot about her personal life, she won't be baring all of her body anytime soon. Simpson, 29, who graces the cover of the new Allure (due on stands next Tuesday), says she'll never show skin on film, even for the sake of art.
"I will never do nudity ... I don't care if I frickin' could get an Oscar for it, I'm not going to do it. Those accolades mean nothing to me. I don't think people deserve to see what's under my clothing," Simpson added, "That's only for my next husband -- ha-ha-ha."
It's unlikely that her next hubby will be bad-boy singer-songwriter John Mayer, who recently got himself into a heap of trouble for a controversial interview with Playboy. In addition to what many are calling racist and homophobic remarks, Mayer, 32, divulged to readers (rather graphically) about his feelings on exes, including Simpson, whom he referred to as "sexual napalm." While she doesn't talk about the Playboy blunder, Simpson still got in a jab about Mayer, saying, "He didn't make me go brunette! John doesn't get credit for making me brunette. He'd like to think so, but he doesn't deserve the credit."
Simpson assures readers none of her breakups have been bitter. Case in point, her ongoing friendship with ex-boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Tony Romo, 29. Simpson said of the football star, "I'm still a fan. I'm a huge fan. I wear my gear, and I cheer Tony on." And while she may not be bitter about Mayer, Romo, or ex-husband Nick Lachey, Simpson also said that she's learned "nothing" from her former flames.
The star, who has been linked to Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, insists she's currently flying solo, stating, "I'm on my own, and it's nice."
