Jessica Simpson has been in the news lately for showing off her dramatic post-pregnancy weight loss. But it looks like the Weight Watchers spokeswoman might be ready to put some of that weight back on -- because rumor has it that she's pregnant again!
According to Us Weekly, the Fashion Star mentor, 32, and fiance Eric Johnson received the unexpected news that they are expecting a little brother or sister for their nearly 7-month-old daughter, Maxwell Drew.
"It definitely wasn't planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again," a source reveals to Us. "She really is overjoyed!"
A rep for Simpson, however, had no comment.
Simpson and Johnson, who have been engaged for two years, welcomed baby Maxwell -- weighing in at a robust 9 lbs, 13 oz. -- on May 1 of this year. Since signing on as the Weight Watchers program's latest spokesperson, Simpson has reportedly lost more than 60 lbs. through a combination of counting her points and sticking to a strict workout routine.
Although some first-time moms discuss the difficulties surrounding transitioning into a parent, Simpson has been thrilled with her new role.
"She’s just in the happiest place I’ve ever seen her in," her best friend CaCee Cobb told iVillage in September. "Even on her worst day, she’s still so happy. If things get hard or rough, she’s just like 'I’ve got Maxwell and I’ve got Eric. It’s never gonna be that bad.'"
But Jess -- who was iVillage's Guest Editor last month -- does admit that she has moments of worry about her little girl. "I think all moms just wanna make sure that they’re doing everything right," she told iVillage. "You can try and get all the information you can, but you really don’t know (what it's like) until you have them in your arms and you take them home."
We're guessing she'll be even a little more confident the second time around!
