Yep, it's official: Jessica Simpson is taking the Tori Spelling route to family planning.
The 32-year-old old singer/actress/Fashion Star mentor is already pregnant again -- and her baby girl, Maxwell Drew, is just 7 months old.
Simpson and her fiancé, Eric Johnson, confirmed the pregnancy rumors on Christmas Day, tweeting an adorable picture of baby Maxwell, dressed in a candy cane–striped outfit, next to the words "Big Sis" spelled out in the sand. Less than a month ago, a source told Us Weekly magazine, "It definitely wasn't planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again. She really is overjoyed!" (We knew it! Celebrities aren't actually just like us: We'd be a crumpled mess, crying on the bathroom floor.)
We can't say we're surprised. Simpson has been pretty vocal about the fact that she and Eric were already back in the sack three weeks post-baby, right on the heels of a pregnancy filled with red-hot sex.
But back-to-back pregnancies aren't without risks, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Women's Health. "Becoming pregnant again within a year of giving birth increases the chance that your new baby will be born too soon," the government agency notes. "Babies that are born too soon can have health problems."
The agency recommends pregnancies be at least 12 months apart (hello, birth control!), adding that breastfeeding doesn't count as contraception. So much for Jessica's Weight Watchers plan, right?
