Things didn't work out so well for Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey. Or Jessica Simpson and John Mayer. Or Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo. So what kind of guy is going to be the one who spends his forever with Jess?
"I don't want to get bored," she tells Extra. "I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men ... people that will always keep me intrigued."
Interesting, coming from a girl who once thought Buffalo wings were made from buffalo.
Anyway, in addition to brains, the singer, who was most recently dumped by Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Romo in July, says she's looking for someone with substance. "I definitely love a spiritual man -- somebody that is going to always inspire me. And, you know, I love artistic men -- somebody that really understands their art."
Jessica has been brushing up on her culture while filming her new VH1 reality show, The Price of Beauty, as she recently returned from India with a Henna tattoo. "I couldn't have had this journey at a better time in my life, to seek out beauty, to seek out confidence, and to seek out the power of a woman," she said. And though the press can be pretty cruel to Jess at times, the resilient singer says she will persevere. "It really is about who I am and what I want to become, and what's going to make the best version of myself."
