Hurricane Sandy brought two unlikely people together while they were trying to escape the aftermath of the storm. Jimmy Fallon had to find someplace other than his apartment to stay for a few days earlier this week, and he ended up on a platonic dinner date with Lindsay Lohan. Watch him tell his tale below:
"I had no power, no water in my apartment, so I stayed at a hotel last night," he recounts to Bravo's Andy Cohen in the above clip. "Go to a restaurant called Tao -- it's very good, it's like a fusion."
Fallon continues, "I'm walking in and I'm leaving and I hear, 'Jimmy! Jimmy!' I turn around, and it's Lindsay Lohan. She goes, 'What's up?' and I go, 'What do you mean, "What's up?" The hurricane, man. Everyone's out here. What are you doing? 'She goes, 'Nothing. Are you here by yourself?' I go, 'Yeah,' and she goes, 'How embarrassing.'"
It's at this point that Lohan invited the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon host to eat dinner with her and her group, which was an offer he accepted. He then proceeded to hang out with LiLo and her two "very funny" friends and talked about Cohen and Real Housewives. Apparently Lohan is a "giant fan" of the Bravo franchise.
Despite all the drama that is currently surrounding Lohan, Fallon said he had a great time with the Liz & Dick star.
"She was fantastic. She was loose and cool and sobes and just fun. ... She gave me some bands that she's into," he recalls. "She's just the cutest kid."
