Joan Rivers Rips Jay Leno and His New Talk Show

The feisty Joan Rivers is not holding back when it comes to her feelings about Jay Leno and his new NBC talk show.

When asked about Leno's talk show moving to 10 p.m. in a recent interview, Rivers responded by saying, "I think he will put America to sleep even earlier. And that’s good because it will save power and light."

Zing!

And who says the 76-year-old comedian doesn't have it still?

The days of Rivers appearing as a guest host on The Tonight Show are long over so I'm not sure why she felt the need to take the cheap shot at Leno. In fact, Leno and his writers are probably already re-editing the opening night monologue to include a response regarding Rivers's remark.

There aren't many folks who are in the middle when it comes to Leno's comedy. Either you love the guy or you can't stand him. At this point in their careers, both are equally unfunny in my eyes.

We obviously know where Rivers stands but what do you think about Leno? He has quite the impressive guest list for the first couple of weeks of The Jay Leno Show including Tom Cruise, Jerry Seinfield, Halle Berry and Robin Williams.
