A Timeline of Joan Rivers' Ever-Changing Plastic Surgery Face

As the comedian celebrates her 80th birthday, look back at how her multiple plastic surgeries have affected her appearance

It's hard to believe that Joan Rivers is turning 80 -- partially because her face is only a few years old! From facelifts to Botox injections, the Fashion Police host is known for her many nips and tucks. She even joked on her show Melissa and Joan: Joan Knows Best that she had undergone a whopping 739 procedures.

Of course, the legendary comedian has been accused of going overboard with plastic surgery, and daughter Melissa even tried to stage an intervention. But Joan has always stood behind her face: "I want to look nice," she's said. "No one wants to look ugly!"

Here, we look back at how the snarky star's looks have evolved over the past several decades.

Is Joan pulling a Benjamin Button? “I love to look in the mirror and say, ‘For 77, you look good.’ That’s all. I don’t care what anyone says. Not bad for 77,” said the wrinkle-less Fashion Police host in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

It was reported that Joan Rivers underwent 739 procedures! “Every weekend I just go in and I do something new. I get a 10th one free. It's a little like coffee you just keep going," Rivers joked to the Daily Telegraph. Rivers thankfully set the record straight in an interview with Anderson Cooper, stating that the exaggerated figure was obviously a joke. Phew!
