Joaquin Phoenix Says Goodbye to Acting -- We Think

What is the deal with Joaquin Phoenix?
The actor seems to have taken his wonky pills the last few weeks. Joaquin first announced last week that he was retiring from acting, at the tender age of 34, to explore his musical side. "I'm done. I've been through that," he said at the time of movies.
Now, he's apparently trying to drive the point home, as he wrote the words "Bye" and "Good" on his knuckles, for the premiere of his new movie, Two Lovers, Saturday night.
"I think it's just moving on," the Oscar-nominated actor said on the red carpet. "It's rediscovering something else. "It's like greener pastures, you know what I mean? And so, I'm just going to try and like, I'll just be doing the other thing ... Hopefully, I will emotionally impact you with that, as well."
Um, okay, but why do have to go and be a freak about it? And, if you're going to write a message on your knuckles, why wouldn't you write the words in the correct order? Wacko.
