They may have seemed like the perfect, happy family -- but now, after 35 years of marriage, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson's parents are getting divorced. The couple confirmed the news in a statement to Us Weekly on Oct. 24. "Tina and Joe Simpson have filed for divorce," the statement reads. "It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved. Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time." Tina filed divorce papers on Sept. 24 in McLennan County, Tex. It's been an especially rough few months for the family, as Joe (a former pastor) is currently awaiting trial for his DUI arrest in August.
