John Stamos Is Reuniting Uncle Jesse's 'Full House' Band!

The actor will join his band from his Full House days, Jesse and the Rippers, on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Friday

This has been a rough week so far, news-wise. Fortunately, we have something happy to report: Jesse and the Rippers are reuniting! Yes, that would be John Stamos' band from the '80s sitcom Full House. The proper reaction:

Stamos first hinted at the reunion on Monday, when he posted an Instagram video of the band performing the Full House theme song, "Everywhere You Look." (He captioned it, "Never thought I'd be singing THIS song.")

The next day, People confirmed that Jesse and the Rippers would be performing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this Friday. Given the evidence, we're guessing they'll be performing the Full House theme song -- though we wouldn't mind a re-creation of the "Forever" video. Bring on the ripped acid-wash jeans and naked babies!

Lately, the whole Full House cast has been indulging our nostalgia. Back in September, all of them (except for the Olsen twins) reunited for the show's 25th anniversary, posting photos and video online. In June, Bob Saget made a pilgrimage to the Tanners' fictional home in San Francisco. And just last week, Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber -- a.k.a former besties DJ Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler -- went backstage together at a New Kids on the Block concert. (Double nostalgia!)

It warms our hearts to see that the TV family has stayed close all these years. We'd love to give them all a big hug -- but this GIF will have to do.
