In one of their few public appearances since the tragic passing of their son Jett, John Travolta and pregnant wife Kelly Preston attended the 41st anniversary party for The Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre on Saturday in Los Angeles. The couple, along with 10-year-old daughter Ella, stepped out dressed to the nines, looking happy and healthy.
In a video interview with E!, Travolta, 56, says he's been involved with the Celebrity Centre since 1975 and he explains, "I...associate my good experiences with this group." He and his wife (pictured above with Elena Roggero and Michele Henderson) are seen grooving to the music and socializing with their fellow partygoers. Previously, Travolta has said Scientology helped his family mourn the loss of their son, stating, "We work hard every day with our church on healing."
The Travoltas weren't the only stars to make an appearance at the event celebrating the controversial religion and boasting approximately 1,400 guests. Leah Remini (The King of Queens), Jenna Elfman (Accidentally on Purpose), Erika Christensen (Parenthood), Nancy Cartwright (The Simpsons) and dancing astronaut Buzz Aldrin made the scene, too. However, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, arguably the most famous Scientologist couple, weren't spotted.
