It was announced in early October that the former Grease costars had created a Christmas album that ended up coming out on Nov. 13. The CD, called This Christmas, includes Newton-John and Travolta's take on a variety of Christmas carols including "Baby It's Cold Outside" and "Silent Night," as well as a new song called "I Think You Might Like It." The single serves as a sequel to "You're The One That I Want," but a newly released music video for the song proves how far these two have come since their Grease days.
Still, "I Think You Might Like It" has some major Grease roots. The song was written by John Farrar, the same man who penned "You're The One That I Want," and the video for the track features Travolta and Newton-John wearing outfits similar to the ones they wore in the 1978 film.
But as for the plane and their toned-down dance moves, we're confused, too.
Proceeds from This Christmas' album sales are going to be split between the Jett Travolta Foundation and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre, so at least all this effort is going toward a good cause.
But does that excuse how cheesy this whole video is? Let us know your take: likes or yikes?
