John Travolta Looks for Alone Time in Tahiti

John Travolta is just looking for a little peace.

Four days after what would have been his son's Jett's 17th birthday, John flew to Tahiti by himself for a little solitude. The actor flew in from Australia on Saturday morning in his private plane and booked a room at the Intercontinental Tahiti resort. Sources say he only stayed one night, but didn't leave his room the entire time.

"He told the hotel manager, 'I don't want to see anyone. I only want to rest,'" said the insider.

Earlier in the week, John and wife Kelly Preston spent time together in Melbourne, but John needed some time by himself.

"He is still in mourning about his son," a friend said of the actor. "This is not easy and everyone has their own process. He's always there for his family but he is still healing."

Jett died suddenly of a seizure disorder in January.
