It's official: Jon & Kate are now just Jon, and just Kate.
According to CNN.com, the divorce of Jon and Kate Gosselin was finalized by a Pennsylvania court today, just days after their 10-and-a-half-year wedding anniversary.
Kate Gosselin will have primary custody of their eight children, who will all remain in their current home in Lower Heidelberg Township, Penn.
"I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized, and I look forward to the New Year, focusing on the children," Kate Gosselin said in a statement. "This has been a challenging transition for all of us, but I am confident that we will move ahead with the important task of restructuring our lives."
There was no official comment from Jon Gosselin, but his lawyer said, "while the arbitration proceedings are still a work in progress, Jon and Kate will remain binded in their commitment to their eight wonderful children."
The future remains unclear regarding the much-discussed possibility of a Kate Plus 8 TV show, but TLC (the channel that airs Jon & Kate Plus 8) has said they are interested in continuing some kind of programming around the wildly successful series.
