It was a rough weekend for Jon Bon Jovi, as the rocker was injured Friday night while performing a show for the hometown crowd in New Jersey. Fans posted videos on YouTube of Bon Jovi limping across the stage after the suffering a leg injury.
"Jon Bon Jovi sustained a torn calf muscle," the music man's rep told People in a statement. "Jon made light of the injury and went on to close the show with their hit, 'Living On a Prayer.' The band ended the night together, thanking the capacity hometown crowd, and assisting Jon off the stage."
Luckily for concert-goers, the 48-year-old had a day to rest on Saturday and was back performing again Sunday in Saratoga Springs, NY. And if you have tickets for any upcoming shows, well, your prayers will still be answered, as a rep for the band says, "The injury will not prevent Bon Jovi from playing any of their upcoming stadium dates this summer."
