Jon Bon Jovi Walks Fan Down the Aisle! 5 More Internet Campaigns That Actually Worked

The singer showed one diehard some serious appreciation on her wedding day. But he isn't the only celeb to accept a fan's invite!

Jon Bon Jovi super fan Branka Delic must have been "Livin' on a Prayer" to think the rocker would walk her down the aisle on her wedding day. But on Oct. 12, her dream came true! The singer surprised the 34-year-old bride before her Las Vegas ceremony, which took place -- not by coincidence -- at the same wedding chapel where Bon Jovi tied the knot with his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley, in 1989.

How did Delic convince one of the biggest names in rock to attend her wedding? She started an online campaign with a website and Facebook page to urge the singer to give her away to fiance Gonzalo "Gonzo" Cladera.

"All her life, Branka thought she would marry Bon Jovi himself. Sadly, at the age of 34 she realized this would never happen, and she accepted Gonzo's proposal instead," reads a statement on her website. "She might not be marrying Bon Jovi, but the next best option is for her to walk down the same aisle he did 20 good strong years ago, so the stage has been set...The Graceland Chapel, Las Vegas, Nevada."

Bon Jovi conveniently had a concert at the MGM in Las Vegas on the same day. After the wedding, he tweeted:

Delic graciously responded:

Amazing indeed! But Bon Jovi isn't the only celebrity to respond to an online fan campaign. Here are five other stars who showed fans their appreciation.

In a long-shot YouTube invitation, Sgt. Scott Moore asked Mila Kunis to attend the Marine Corps Ball in Greenville, N.C., in 2011. After the video went viral -- receiving over 4 million hits -- Kunis accepted the invitation. Moore said that they spent most of the night hanging out with his friends, dancing, and teaching her about their history and traditions. "It was a blast, it was a great time. So yes, it exceeded my expectations," Moore told Robin Roberts on Good Morning America.

Corporal Kelsey De Santis didn't want Kunis' Friends with Benefits costar Justin Timberlake to feel left out! After Moore's invitation, De Santis asked the "Take Back the Night" singer to the Marine Corps Ball. At a press event for Friends with Benefits, Timberlake accepted the invitation. “I have to tell you, it’s not every day that I meet a 23-year-old girl and she’s more worried about if I’m having fun or if I’m comfortable!" He posted on his website on Nov. 13. "It hit me all of a sudden that these were the type of people that look after us and our freedom… Humble, concerned for others before themselves… This was the type of person our Marine Corps was building. I was really blown away."

Justin Bieber

Belieber Cady Eimer spent over a year campaigning for Justin Beiber to take her to prom. Although the singer couldn't make it to the dance, he did have something special in store for the die-hard fan. At prom, a video played inviting Cady and her sister to the Billboard Music Awards. (See her reaction here.) We would definitely choose that over prom!

Joe Jonas

Fan Shaina Kohli asked Joe Jonas to her college formal with a YouTube video. While on the Today show, she received a hysterical video of Jonas turning down her offer, but proposing a counteroffer for her to attend his Jonas Brothers concert in Chicago. Little did she know that standing right next to her was Jonas in disguise!

Taylor Swift

The night before Kayla Kincannon’s 16th birthday, she was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with brain cancer. After chemotherapy, the tumor disappeared, but another soon formed. Her friends and family used an online campaign to give her the best Christmas gift ever -- to meet her idol, Taylor Swift. The singer found out about the campaign and had lunch with Kincannon. So sweet!
