It's Jon minus one -- lawyer, that is. There's now one less person involved in the custody battle between Kate Gosselin and her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, whose attorney, Anthony List told TMZ that Kate was "always promoting something and most of the time it's herself." Well, now List is by himself, kicked to the curb by Jon.
List also reportedly said: "Dancing with the Stars is just the tip of the iceberg for Kate, as surely there will be many other projects to take its place soon." (Those projects include Gosselin's upcoming new TLC reality show, Twist of Kate.)
The divorced couple have certainly had their problems, but Jon now wants the public to know that he had no part in List's statement about the mother of his eight children.
"Mr. Anthony List Sr., Esq. is not my representing attorney; I terminated him on April 15, 2010," Jon tweeted early Thursday morning. "He has no legal right to speak to the press or anyone on my behalf. Kate, her attorneys and I are moving forward to work out things privately and amicably."
With the bitterness that has transpired between the two reality-show parents, it's nice -- for once! -- to hear the word "amicably." Let's hope that sentiment sticks around for a while!
