The time has finally come for Jon Gosselin to make a new start of things. We were starting to wonder how many arguments with Kate, how many embarrassing home videos and atrocious T-shirts it would take until Gosselin, 33, realized that he needed to change. Now he's facing up to his duties as a divorced father of eight by trying to improve his life... with a tattoo.
Oh, but it's not just any tattoo! It's a really big tattoo. Gosselin proudly leaked a photo to RadarOnline of the Korean dragon that now covers his whole back, symbolizing rebirth. "I wanted something that resembles... a change in me," said Gosselin. His manager helpfully added that "this tattoo for Jon marks this turning point in his life, and symbolizes his time of change, and improvement." Aha.
So...what does this "rebirth" actually consist of? Well, Gosselin has hired a new manager. And a new life coach. And he's doing something called the "Total Leadership Connection program." But mostly, he got a tattoo. And nothing shows your commitment to your kids like getting inked for fourteen hours, right?
Sigh. We think this is conclusive proof that Gosselin has spent far too long on reality TV. He knows his life needs to change, but rather than actually taking the slow, tedious steps to make that change -- like, say, sending out his resume to IT companies, which would make for terrible TV -- he decides to make a big, grand gesture that will show the world he's a changed man. Here's the memo you're not getting, Jon: what the world thinks doesn't matter. What matters is those eight little kids. And right now, they need a dad who's thinking more about them than about his public image.
Do you think Jon Gosselin will ever be able to turn his life around? Chime in below!
