WATCH: Jonah Hill Pokes Fun at His Post-Oscars Ego on 'SNL'

Unlike Lindsay Lohan, who returned to Saturday Night Live hoping for a comeback, Jonah Hill went back to the late-night comedy at the height of his career.

Fresh off the awards season, the Oscar-nominated actor poked fun at his "great year" during his opening monologue on the March 10 episode of SNL. In the pre-recorded footage of his week of preparation with the cast, Hill does obnoxious "big star" things like asking Andy Samberg for a drink.

"I'm a little parched from all the red-carpet banter," Hill explains as he asks Samberg to fetch him a Diet Coke. "Oscar nom stuff."

The 21 Jump Street star, 28, says in a confessional-style interview that he hasn't changed much since his Academy Awards nomination.

"I think after the Oscar nomination, some were worried I would take myself too seriously," Hill says, "but I'm not too fancy to let loose and have fun."

Later, after pompously donning a series of reading glasses and scarves throughout his meetings and rehearsals (and attempting to call his "buddy Brad Pitt"), Hill has a hilarious exchange with Kristen Wiig

"I feel so weird. Do you know that feeling like you were just nominated for an Oscar?" Hill asks the Bridesmaids star. "What am I talking about? Of course you don't know that feeling!"

Wiig responds: "Actually, I was nominated, remember? For writing best original screenplay."

But even then, Hill can't help but act condescending: "That is so cute. Is that before or after the visual effects one?" Hill asks.
