Actor Jude Law was cleared of charges he assaulted a paparazzi photographer outside his London home last month. Jude was initially arrested, questioned by police and released on bail. The case was forwarded to the state prosecutors - the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) - for further deliberation. "The police have told me that they and the CPS have examined the photographer's allegation extremely carefully and made the decision that there is no further action to be taken," Jude told People. "Of course I'm delighted to be vindicated."
Jude should be breathing a huge sigh of relief. With the way celebs have been heading to the slammer these days, he got lucky. He is waaaay too pretty to go to survive in jail.
