Judge Judy Rushed to the Hospital to "Chill"

The 68-year-old TV star says she's "really fine" after becoming visibly ill while filming her courtroom show on Wednesday

Judge Judy was admitted to the hospital Wednesday afternoon, after complaining of intestinal discomfort and becoming visibly ill while filming her eponymous TV show. But the sharp-tongued television personality insists that she really just needed some rest.

"I'm just exhausted, and my body was telling me it needed a day to chill," Judith Sheindlin, 68, told TMZ from her hospital bed in Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Her Honor was rushed to the hospital via ambulance, where she was admitted in serious condition. Yet Judy swears that there's nothing serious about her condition at all.

"I'm really fine. I wanted to go back to work this afternoon," she said, adding, "I'm exhausted. I'm just tired. A lot of things just zoned together, including the bad news of the world. At my age, I know my body. My body is fine."

Doctors performed an MRI on the judge, who admitted to feeling "funky" earlier in the day, but so far all tests have come back negative.
