She's not quite A-list yet, but Judy Greer might be ready for an upgrade.
The smart, funny, sharp-tongued actress has definitely mastered the "crazy best friend" role. She brought edgy humor to an otherwise saccharine chick flick as Katherine Heigl's BFF in 27 Dresses. And she won us over as Jennifer Garner's malicious adversary in 13 Going on 30. She also played memorable supporting roles in The Wedding Planner and What Women Want.
And now she's in the latest Jennifer Aniston rom-com Love Happens (out Sept. 18) playing – you guessed it – the wacky BFF. And we're guessing she'll once again be the sidekick as she signed on to join Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal in next year's Love and Other Drugs.
So why can't this talented actress ever be the romantic lead? And don't you dare say because she's not pretty enough. Come on, Hollywood. Give Judy a break!
