Julianna Margulies Dishes on Oral Sex with Chris Noth (For Her TV Show!)

In a new interview with More, the Good Wife star talks about filming network television's first guy-on-girl oral sex scene

He's not playing Mr. Big anymore -- but on The Good Wife with Julianna Margulies, Chris Noth is still breaking TV's sexual taboos! In a new interview with More magazine, Margulies, 45, talks about filming network television's first guy-on-girl oral sex scene with Noth, which took viewers by surprise when it aired in 2010.

"The first thing that went through my mind is, 'Oh dear God, how are we going to film this?'" Margulies tells the magazine. "Then, 'Oh God, my father's going to watch the show.'"

Margulies recalls that the show's co-creator, Michelle King, convinced her to do the scene by putting it this way: "Enough of this bulls***. Alicia needs to have oral sex performed on her." So in the end, cheated-on political wife Alicia Florrick had her husband pleasure her. (You can watch the scene below -- it's tastefully done!)

Looking back, Margulies couldn't be happier with how it happened. "I love it," she says. "I truly believe (Michelle King) is instigating a sexual revolt for network television. I think it's brave, and I love to try things people haven’t tried before."

The actress wasn't always so comfortable discussing her onscreen sex life. When the clip was first played for the press in 2010, Margulies blew up at a reporter for asking her if she'd "researched" other TV sex scenes.

"Honestly, is that the question you are going to ask me? That is despicable," snapped the actress. "That is truly the stupidest question I have ever heard."

Now, though, Margulies seems to take the question in stride. In the portions of the interview that have been released, the working mom seems generally relaxed and happy -- which she says comes with age.

"I'm such a different person now than I was in my twenties," she acknowledges. "I had all these insecurities -- about doing the right thing, about how people would perceive me. It stopped me from having fun, where now I feel comfortable with who I am, no matter who's in the room. Now this is me, take it or leave it. ... That's the beauty of growing up." Indeed!
