Julianne Hough took "dancing with the stars" to a whole new level when she gave a sexy lap dance to her Rock of Ages costar Tom Cruise. During a visit to LIVE! with Kelly, the actress described shooting the racy scene with Cruise -- which got cut from the film after test audiences found it too scandalous!
"It got cut 'cause apparently mothers didn't like [my character] Sherrie Christian after that," explained the dancer-turned-actress. "It was a little too hot and steamy and sexy."
Hough, 23, assured fans that the scene would make the director's cut of the rock musical -- and that she would never stop bragging about it!
"Let's just say I’'l always have that in my back pocket, that I gave Tom Cruise a lap dance," she told host Kelly Ripa.
And, although she's been dating Ryan Seacrest for two years, Hough isn't shy about admitting her giant crush on Cruise.
"You have no idea, he is the sexiest thing I have seen," Hough told PopSugar at the Spike TV Guy's Choice Awards, adding quickly, "besides my boyfriend, of course."
The lap dance wasn't Hough's only chance to get up close and personal with her handsome costar. During the very first scene they shot, Cruise, 49, actually had to hold Hough's breast!
"I was nervous as all get-out, but after every take he high-fived me and was like, 'That was awesome,'" Hough told Glamour magazine.
Cruise also proved to be a good friend when Julianne pushed herself too hard during one of the film's dance numbers.
"At one point on the movie, I got really hurt -- I tweaked my neck and was in so much pain. And everyone was pressuring me to keep shooting, but Tom came in and said, 'No, this is what insurance is for, Julianne. You have the rest of your career. You need to take care of yourself!'" Hough recalled to Glamour. "And I thought, Tom Cruise cares about me! Now I can cry."
That said, Hough seems very happy in her relationship with fellow workaholic Seacrest.
"I'm so lucky that I have a great relationship," she told Parade in February. "I'm very blessed and I don't take anything for granted. I think if you alienate people and just focus on your work then it just becomes lonely and it's not fun anymore."
Hmm -- think Ryan ever gets one of those too-hot-for-the-movies lap dances?
