In the fun-filled movie musical Rock of Ages, viewers get to see Julianne Hough pole-dancing, singing with Mary J. Blige and rocking some seriously big hair. But one thing they don't get to see is her sexy lap-dance with Tom Cruise.
The risque scene was deleted from the final cut. So, of course we had to know: Who was happier to see it go -- Hough's father or her boyfriend, Ryan Seacrest?
"I think they're both high-fiving in the corner," the actress, 23, tells iVillage exclusively. "They actually both saw it. It's a little steamy and hard to watch -- but at the same time it was really good dancing from Tom and really good singing from both of us. So it was a musical version of a lap dance, ladies and gentleman!"
Hough also dished to iVillage about the many '80s-fabulous hairstyles she wore throughout the film. "I kind of liked my stripper [look] because because there was like gusts and gusts of hair. I loved it."
Watch our exclusive video interview to find out why Hough says working with Cruise was "surreal" and why her costar Diego Boneta hated his "boy-band hair."
