Psoriasis is a tricky condition to manage, and new treatments are coming on the market at a fast pace, so it’s important to work with a dermatologist who specializes in the condition or who at least has experience treating it and keeps up with new research. To find such a dermatologist, start with your primary care physician and your health insurance company. You also can get names of doctors at the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) by typing your Zip code into the physician directory, or by clicking on "Find a Dermatologist" at the American Academy of Dermatology's website.
