George Clooney, 50, and Julia Roberts, 43, became fast friends on the set of Ocean's Eleven in 2001 -- and they've been trading quips ever since. On an Oprah Winfrey Show Oscar special in 2007, Roberts and Clooney (pictured at the Annual American Cinemathique Awards in Beverly Hills on Oct. 13, 2006) recalled the first time they met. "At the Chateau Marmont. We sat on the floor," remembers Julia. "We were supposed to be rehearsing," notes Clooney. "And all we did is gossip about people who weren't in the room!" says Julia gleefully. Though they're two of the world's most beautiful people, Clooney and Roberts have never been a couple -- but they love to tease one another about the rumors. For example, after they did a double-entendre-laced interview with Esquire in 2001, George referred to Roberts as "the future Mrs. Clooney," while Julia called him her "boyfriend."
