Are Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez on the rocks?
According to People, Gomez, 19, "was crying about Justin and was upset" during Ashley Tisdale's birthday party last week.
But photos from the High School Musical star's bash show Gomez having a good time and looking pretty flirty with a guy who's been identified as Bieber's close friend Alfredo Flores.
Adding to the confusion is TMZ's report that Bieber, 17, and Gomez did break up last week but have since gotten back together. Neither star's reps have commented on the rumors, but it's not the first time the teen lovebirds have reportedly split.
The couple faced breakup rumors last August -- but they quickly made it obvious they were still together when they sat next to each other at the Teen Choice Awards hand-in-hand.
Bieber and Gomez have enjoyed some spectacularly romantic date nights, family bonding (both have young, involved mothers), and PDA-filled outings since confirming their relationship in May 2011.
As recently as last week, the two were spotted wearing matching ensembles at the Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D premiere. The question remains, is there trouble in paradise -- or is everything just fine between the two teen superstars?
