Justin Bieber prides himself on a close relationship with his fans -- but there is such a thing as too close. While Justin was playing Dubai on Sunday, an audience member rushed the stage and grabbed the 19-year-old pop star, knocking over a grand piano in the process. Security quickly intervened, and Justin continued to play the rest of the show -- even the encore. Watch the crazy video below!
And here's a clip of the aftermath, as posted by a Vine user. (The local press reported that the piano was broken and had to be wheeled offstage for the remainder of the concert.)
Fortunately, the singer made a quick recovery. "All is fine," Bieber's rep told E! Online. "A man ran on stage during 'Believe' and tried to grab Justin and knocked the piano over. He was a fan. Security detained the young man. All was fine and Justin continued the show."
Seems like The Biebs encounters drama wherever he goes these days. Granted, a lot of it is his own fault. In Dubai, Justin got things off to a rocky start by showing up two hours late to the concert. According to an unconfirmed report on Reddit, Justin may also have gotten in hot water with Dubai police by driving recklessly to the show, allegedly running red lights and going 150 miles per hour.
Of course, Bieber couldn't have anticipated some dude tackling him onstage. Nor was he responsible for E! Online's Twitter account being hijacked on Saturday -- resulting in a widely-retweeted post that read "Exclusive: Justin Bieber to E! online: I'm a gay." (He's not actually "a gay," in case that wasn't clear.)
Seems like all that bad press has made Justin a more vulnerable target for haters. Hopefully, he doesn't get discouraged from cleaning up his act.
