Justin Bieber Involved in a Nude Photo Scandal?

After the 18-year-old star had his laptop stolen, a nude photo surfaced -- but is it really him?

Someone has stolen Justin Bieber's laptop, and the 18-year-old Canadian pop star is not too happy about it.

"Sucks when u take personal footage and people dont respect your privacy," Bieber tweeted on Oct. 10. "Yesterday during the show me and my tour manager josh had some stuff stolen. really sucks. people should respect other's property. i had a lot of personal footage on that computer and camera and that is what bothers me the most. #lame #norespect."

So, what exactly does that "personal footage" include? In all likelihood it's just innocent photos of family and friends. But the public is so used to hearing that phrase used to describe sex tapes that you can't blame people for thinking the worst. Of course, we'd have to assume that if Bieber did have anything racy on his computer, he probably wouldn't call attention to it by tweeting!

However, it didn't take long for claims to surface that a nude picture of Bieber had been exposed. The image in question appeared on Twitter and was posted on Gawker -- but it was quickly debunked after commenters pointed out that the naked guy's belly button was not the same as Bieber's. The photo was removed because the age of the young-looking person in the pic was unknown -- but you can still see a thumbnail of the shot here.

And -- adding even more evidence to the theory that the photo is a fake -- The Frisky points out that the photo is not new and actually surfaced on Tumblr 10 months ago. Considering Bieber's laptop was just stolen two days ago, we're going to go ahead and confirm that this picture is not him.

Rest assured, Selena Gomez: Your man is in the clear!
