Justin Bieber Sets Up Kendall Jenner on a Date Via Twitter

The singer thinks the Kardashians' younger half-sister would be a good match for his writer-producer pal Julian Swirsky

Justin Bieber is already a singer, a perfume mogul and a cone-ing devotee. And now the teen phenom is poised to add another line to his résumé: matchmaker.

Bieber, 17, apparently wants to see a love connection between a member of the Kardashian clan -- Kendall Jenner -- and his writer/producer pal, Julian Swirsky.

Jenner, 15, is the half-sister of Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian. She's also a model and, following in the family footsteps, a budding controversy magnet, having recently posed for a sultry bikini photoshoot, which some critics deemed inappropriate for someone of her age.

Swirsky, 16, has produced for Soulja Boy, Sean Kingston, Bow Wow and Nicole Scherzinger in addition to the Biebs, according to his Twitter bio.

Naturally, the budding relationship is playing out on Twitter.

On Tuesday morning, Bieber tweeted: "Hey Kendall Jenner, you should let my boy (Julian Swirsky) take you out on a date."

"Only if you & Selena Gomez join!," Kendall tweeted in reply, referring to the Biebs' main squeeze. "DoubleDate."

Swirsky also weighed in on the suggestion, with his own tweet. "Yeah, I wouldn't mind that," he wrote. And later, he tweeted a message to Kendall, asking, "Are you choosing the restaurant?"

Looks promising so far. So -- using the titles of Bieber hits to ask the question -- could this mean "One Less Lonely Girl" for Kendall and "Somebody to Love" for Swirsky? We can't say for sure, but thank goodness Biebs keeps popping out hits, so we can answer the question with a hopeful: "Never Say Never."
