Following the U.S. women's gymnastics team's fantastic gold medal victory at the Olympics on July 31, some of the world's most famous celebrities are going gaga over Aly Raisman, 18, Jordyn Wieber, 17, Gabby Douglas, 16, McKayla Maroney, 16 and Kyla Ross, 15.
"Now that we are OLYMPIC champions... Can we please meet @justinbieber?? @McKaylaMaroney @Aly_Raisman @kyla_ross96 @gabrielledoug," Wieber tweeted, following the U.S. women's first gold in the team all-around since 1996.
Justin Bieber, who has almost 26 million followers on Twitter, tweeted back: "U support me i support u. congrats. and @ryanseacrest told me about u too. #DREAMBIG."
He then added, "Beliebers win gold."
After their win, Mother Monster tweeted: "Woohoo! Gold for the ladies! Just want to squeeze them! So much talent and beauty. Did u seem all holding hands? There's no 'I' in team."
Maroney saw these tweets and sent one Gaga's way in appreciation. "Thanks for watching @ladygaga!! <3 This team loves you & your music!! I also heard you were a gymnast??" she tweeted.
This time it was Lady Gaga's turn to have a fan girl moment.
"@mckaylamaroney tweeted at me! Why didn't anybody tell me!!! DEAD. You were brilliant give all the girls a kiss for me," she tweeted. The she added, "And no I did gymnastics for like a weeks and then dropped out for ballet!"
These two aren't the only big celebs to support and congratulate the U.S. women's gymnastics team. Oprah Winfrey, Josh Groban, Derek Hough and even Real Housewives of Beverly Hills leading lady Lisa Vanderpump sent some love to the girls over Twitter.
