Justin Bieber may have shorn his famous locks, but he proved on Sunday that he can still whip his hair! The teen heartthrob, known for his love of pranks, ambushed Willow Smith while she was performing her opening set for the Manchester, England, show on Bieber's world tour. To paraphrase Christopher Walken on Saturday Night Live: "Whip My Hair" just needed more cowbell! Watch the Biebs catch Smith by surprise in the video below.
To pull off the prank, Bieber, 17, enlisted his manager Scooter Braun and "swagger coach" Justin Good. The two adults disguised themselves as back-up dancers, with Smith's trademark neon extensions braided into their hair. They ambushed the stage just as Smith, 10, was coming to the end of her hit song. She did a double-take when she finally noticed them -- and meanwhile, Bieber was sneaking up behind her, wildly dancing and banging on a cowbell! For the finale, Bieber's pal Jaden Smith, 12, hopped onstage to try and out-dance his sister -- and to show off his own hair-whipping move. As captured by Ryan Seacrest's video cameras, Willow and her dancers were still giggling about the incident backstage. Look closely and you'll see Jada Pinkett Smith off to the side, smiling and saying, "That was great!"
According to Bieber's Twitter, it was Willow who tried to punk him first -- and the cowbell prank was, in his words, "PHASE 1 of my REVENGE!!" But Willow Smith is one 10-year-old that we wouldn't want to mess with. After leaving the stage, Willow vowed retribution. "They got me, but it is not over," she can be seen saying in the video. "Revenge is sweet and is served on a cold dish." She also tweeted about the incident later on, writing: "My big brothers Justin and Jaden pranked me on stage tonight ... #payback!!!"
Seriously, though, what's she going to use to top that cowbell? An accordion?
