Justin Bieber: I Want Selena Gomez to Feel Like a "Princess"

In a new interview with Seventeen, the pop susperstar explains his philosophy on how to treat a woman -- and reveals his biggest fear

Just when we thought we couldn't crush on Justin Bieber any harder, he goes and says something that makes us realize how charming he truly is -- sharing his super-sweet philosophy on how to treat women.

"I think it's important to make all women feel like they're princesses, because every girl is a princess," Bieber tells Seventeen. And, just in case you thought he was joking, Justin adds, "I'm serious."

Of course, the prime beneficiary of the 18-year-old pop star's romantic attitude is his girlfriend of more than a year, 19-year-old singer-actress Selena Gomez.

From talking about her "kissable cheeks" to renting out the Staples Center so they could watch Titanic together (didn't he realize he could just wait until it was re-released in 3-D?), Bieber has done his best to show Gomez -- and the world -- that she's his one and only. And that's the point.

"I'm just trying to make her happy, that's all," Bieber gushes to Seventeen.

As for what makes Bieber happy, he opens up about that in a behind-the-scenes video from the interview -- talking about his idea of sexy feminine style.

"On a girl I like to see something that is sexy but not like trashy," he says. "Something short but not too short."

It will also make Bieber happy if he's able to maintain his current young fan base and expand it to an older crowd as he ages and matures.

"A lot of times, when artists grow older, they lose their younger fans because they're just trying to get older fans," he explains to the magazine. "But if you try to make good music, then you'll just appease everybody. I just want to make music that's good for everybody."

Even with such a positive attitude, Bieber does have fears -- the biggest of which is losing someone close to him.

"I've never lost anyone, so I don't know what the feeling would be," he confesses. "It would just be scary."
