Justin Bieber Wins Big at American Music Awards

The 16-year-old star was the youngest person to ever win the artist of the year award at Sunday night's show

He may only be 16, but Justin Bieber has this award show thing down pat. The teen idol rocked the American Music Awards Sunday night, becoming the youngest person to ever win the artist of the year honor.

While accepting the honor, the pop star invited Usher to join him on stage, calling him, "not only my mentor but my best friend and my big brother."

The Biebs also took home trophies for pop/rock male, breakthrough artist, and album of the year for My World 2.0.

Other multiple winners included Usher, who won for male soul/R&B artist and for his album Raymond v. Raymond, and Eminem, who scored male rap/hip-hop artist and for his album, Recovery.

Lady Gaga was recognized as top pop/rock female, Black Eyed Peas for pop/rock group, Brad Paisley for male country artist, Taylor Swift for female country artist, Lady Antebellum for country group and Carrie Underwood for country album of the year for Play On.
