Justin Theroux will admit that he enjoys being with girlfriend Jennifer Aniston -- but when it comes to discussing their relationshop with the press, he refuses to play the gossip game.

"I understand the curiosity, but other than saying I am happy, I am not going to indulge it," Theroux, 40, told New York magazine. "That's building your own torture device."

That being said, he was willing to gush over the couple's recently adopted dog, a 3-month-old boxer-pitbull mix named Sophie.

"She's the most adorable little cookie you've ever seen," he said. "She looks like she just smoked an exploding cigar."

Sounds cute! And since Aniston expressed an "if it happens, it happens" attitude toward having children in a recent interview with GQ, Sophie sounds like a good way to keep the couple's Bel Air house active.

Aniston and Theroux started dating shortly after filming on Wanderlust wrapped, and have been living together since August. Don't expect to hear wedding bells any time soon, though. Aniston also told GQ that the idea that she needs a husband to be happy is "cliche" and revealed to InStyle that she's in a "joyful and peaceful" place in her life.
