Nearly 10 months after getting engaged over their holiday vacation last December, longtime loves Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel became husband and wife in a gorgeous Italian wedding on Friday, Oct. 19.
The nuptials, held at luxury seaside resort the Borgo Egnazia in Puglia, Italy, were truly spectacular, the groom confirms.
"It was magical," Timberlake, 31, tells People. "It was an unforgettable evening."
In front of approximately 150 close family and friends -- including comedian Andy Samberg, rapper/producer Timbaland, talk-show host Jimmy Fallon, *NSync bandmate Chris Kirkpatrick (but not Joey Fatone, who TMZ photographed in Los Angeles this weekend) and 7th Heaven costar Beverley Mitchell -- the pop superstar-turned-actor and his lovely actress bride exchanged vows after three days of pre-wedding celebrations.
"It was a fantasy," says Biel, 30.
The partying started Wednesday with a beach bash (complete with fireworks and live music) and was followed by a sophisticated dinner Thursday evening (which featured fresh artisinal cheeses, local olives and wine) and then the lavish main event on Friday.
"It's great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends," the couple said after tying the knot.
The newlyweds were spotted at the airport on Sunday for their first public outing since the big wedding (he was sporting a gold band). It's presumed the Mr. and Mrs. were heading off on their honeymoon.
People magazine will debut their exclusive photos of the Timberlake-Biel wedding on Wednesday and in this week's cover story.
