Kate Gosselin is going after the cash.

After accusing ex Jon Gosselin of withdrawing over $230,000 from their joint bank account without her knowledge, Kate has filed papers asking him for child support and temporary spousal support.

"She needs relief in light of the draining of substantial marital assets in violation of the arbitrator's decision that the money should be used only for specific purposes," one of her divorce attorneys, Mark Momjian, said.

Kate's application was filed last week, along with an emergency petition asking a judge to order Jon to return the money, which Jon denies taking. His lawyer, Mark Heller, had nothing to say on Kate's request for the cash, but said that he hopes the exes can come to some sort of truce over money, in general.

"We are hoping in the next few days we can all do some bookkeeping," he says. "I'm pretty sure this can come to a cordial resolution."

We think these lawyers have their work cut out for them.
