Book Your Tickets Now! Kate Gosselin Hosting Royal Caribbean Cruise

Want to set sail with a reality icon? The Kate Plus Eight star will be hosting an activity-filled cruise from Aug. 12-19

The allure of the seas is calling to former Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin.

Royal Caribbean has announced that the famous mom of eight will be hosting a Caribbean cruise on its brand new ship, Allure of the Seas, from Aug. 12 to 19. In addition to receiving a "commemorative personalized gift from Kate" (only one per family -- these things are in demand!), fans will be able to spend some quality time with the TLC star during such activities as a brunch, a BBQ, a game day, a question and answer session, a craft class and even a shore excursion.

Rooms range from $1,900 to $3,175 per week. In addition to an unforgettable Gosselin experience, that price includes a performance of the Broadway musical Chicago, a meet and greet with DreamWorks characters like Shrek and Po, and the chance to ride a Boardwalk carousel, try out aerial acrobatics in the Aqua Theater, and simulate surfing on a Flow Rider. That's not to mention the fact that the Allure of the Seas includes the world's first Starbucks at Sea, to cater to all your Frappuccino needs. The ship departs from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and is scheduled to make stops in Haiti, Jamaica and Mexico.

As Entertainment Weekly points out, Gosselin's traveling track record on Kate Plus 8 wasn't exactly the best. But we can't say we share their prediction that Kate will lock herself in her room and refuse to honor her commitment; we have a feeling she'll act a bit more responsible without all those cameras on her. And, if she leaves the kids at home for the trip, this could be Gosselin's chance to have a nice relaxing vacation as well.
