Kate Gosselin's difficult days on ABC's Dancing with the Stars have come to an end. Gosselin, 35, whose participation on the hit show was certainly a draw for curious viewers, received chilly reviews from the DWTS judges after this week's performance.
After Monday's disappointing fox trot (Bruno Tonioli called her "catatonic"), viewers apparently had enough, too. Gosselin, along with her dance partner, Tony Dovolani, got emotional during the results show, but didn't look surprised to find out she was being sent home.
"Thank you for believing in me probably more than I believed in myself," a tearful Gosselin told viewers. Despite the differences aired between Gosselin and Dovolani throughout their run, the dance pro said he was "very proud of Kate." He went on to say, "I give her all the credit in the world for showing up."
The reality mom had an inkling she wouldn't be leaving on a high note because of her low marks, so she made sure her eight kids (who are back home in Reading, Penn.) didn't watch last night's elimination. "I strategically had them watch a movie tonight instead of watching the show, and then I will tell them tomorrow personally," she revealed.
While tons of free time won't exactly be on Kate's post-DWTS schedule (she's currently promoting her new book, I Just Want You To Know, prepping for her upcoming TLC series Twist of Kate and fighting her ex-husband Jon Gosselin in a custody battle), she's looking forward to one of her favorite extracurricular activities: running. "To be honest, I’m looking forward to going back to running every day," she told EW. "It’s my stress relief."
