With Jon and Kate Gosselin in the news every day – and on the cover of every tabloid magazine known to man – it's pretty impossible to imagine that their eight children aren't being affected by their parent's very public split. Add in the slew of reporters that don't leave the outside of their Pennsylvania home and the legal charges filed against Jon, and the Gosselin kids have way too much to deal with on a daily basis. And it's starting to show.
In a new article on VanityFair.com, Kate admits that her kids are "acting out," but she's hoping it's just a phase.
"I'm trying to give them the grace to see, if they’re acting out of line, I'm trying to look deeper into why that is," she says in the article. "Why the kids are acting out. Cause it’s all inter-related. I mean, they don’t see it, but it’s all interconnected."
As for her ex, she says, "They miss him. They say they miss him. I imagine they say the same thing when I'm away."
We sometimes forget that, through all of this Jon & Kate hoopla, that there are eight small children growing up and having their lives molded. For their sake, we hope they work out their differences very soon.
