Inside Kate Hudson's Celeb-Studded Baby Shower

Courteney Cox, Rachel Zoe and Nicole Richie were among the 80 guests at the extravagant -- but family-friendly -- affair

Not everyone thinks you should have a shower for the second baby... but if you do, you might as well go all-out like Kate Hudson! The actress, 32, attended a fancy Malibu, Calif., bash on Sunday afternoon to celebrate her second pregnancy (she has a son Ryder, 7, with ex-husband Chris Robinson) and her first with rocker fiancé Matt Bellamy.

Courteney Cox, Nicole Richie, Rachel Zoe and Jessica Capshaw were among the 80 invited guests who donned cocktail dresses for the outdoor party, where a very pregnant Hudson held court with her fabulous friends.

"She looked amazing and kept giggling while mingling with friends, nibbling on food and playing games," a guest told People. "She seemed to have the best time."

The party was hosted by pals Jen Meyer (Tobey Maguire's wife) and 90210 actress Sara Foster at a ranch house in the exclusive neighborhood where Camille Grammer lives. (Think the Real Housewives cameras caught any of the action?) Hudson is keeping the baby's sex a surprise, so the decor was all-inclusive: pink, blue and yellow. Guests followed suit with baby baskets and gifts in yellow and green. In addition to gifts, many partygoers (including Nicole Richie) brought their children, giving the semi-formal bash a more casual vibe.

"It was a family-friendly party with kids of all ages running around," a source told Us Weekly. "(Nicole Richie's kids) were having a great time playing outside."

Naturally, all the guests took part in the age-old tradition of baby shower games -- the funniest one, according to a witness, being "where people tried to guess what Kate and Matthew should name the baby." Wow -- the parents of Skyler, Ryder, Harlow, Sparrow and Coco trying to choose a baby name together? The mind boggles! (We bet it had lots of "y"s, though.)

Hudson, who is already sporting a major baby bump, is rumored to be due in mid-July.
