Did the Duchess of Cambridge just make a royal slip? When accepting a baby gift of a teddy bear during a visit to England's National Fishing Heritage Centre, the mom-to-be apparently replied, "Thank you, I'll take that for my d.." before stopping mid-sentence, according to Us Weekly.
We knew it!
Ever since Kate Middleton was hospitalized following severe morning sickness, (hyperemesis gravidarumis), we've been wondering whether a royal princess is on the way. That's because the condition is more common in women who are carrying a baby girl, according to the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Increased hormone levels are thought to be the culprit.
Asked if she was about to say "daughter," the Duchess reportedly said, "No, no, no, no. I'm sure, I'm sure. We don't know." Of course, you've gotta feel for a gal who, after enduring the most intense baby pressure ever known, can't even mumble a syllable without sending the free world into a tailspin.
We're just happy that someone had the bright idea to fix British law so that princesses have the same rights as princes when it comes to the throne. All hail the royal baby!
