They say distance makes the heart grow stronger -- and that certainly seems to be the case for Kate Middleton!
Since joining Queen Elizabeth as part of her Diamond Jubilee Tour around the U.K., the Duchess of Cambridge has had to spend a lot of time away from her husband Prince William (who is currently off working in the Falkland Islands). And, so far, being apart hasn't been easy on the newlyweds.
Middleton, 30, visited Leicester on Thursday and briefly met with some supporters. One woman, a 30-year-old physiotherapist named Laura Murphy, asked the Duchess how William has been doing.
"He's well, but I'm missing him terribly," Middleton replied, according to People.
After, Middleton reportedly chatted with assistant city mayor Manjula Sood, who was explaining the Hindu spring festival that Leicester was having. The mayor of the city personally welcomed the Queen and Duchess, and Queen Elizabeth was presented with a photo album that included pictures from her previous visits to Leicester.
Our big concern, however, is if Middleton and her royal husband are off traveling the country, who's at home taking care of their new puppy? Sounds like the two of them better bring the little pooch home some nice dog treats when they return!
