And baby makes...three! This will be the first child for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who famously tied the knot in April 2011.
Pregnancy Diary: Rumors of a royal baby had been flying for weeks when Buckingham Palace announced the news on Dec. 3 -- the same day Kate was admitted to a hospital in Central London with hyperemesis gravidarum (or severe morning sickness). "As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter," the statement reads. Although there were rumors that this condition was due to Kate carrying twins, the Palace revealed on Jan. 14th that the young royals were only expecting one baby. It also announced that the highly anticipated arrival date is July, and that Kate and Wills would not be revealing the baby's gender.
