Kate Moss's recent interview in Women's Wear Daily is causing a bit of a stir.
When asked by WWD.com if she has a motto, the British supermodel replied: "There are loads. There’s 'Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.' That’s one of them. You try and remember, but it never works."
As The Frisky points out, "nothing tastes as good as thin feels" is a mantra used by shocking pro-eating-disorder sites such as Starving for Control. And many of these sites -- which are often referred to as "pro-ana," meaning pro-anorexia -- use pictures of a very skinny Kate Moss as "thinspiration" for their dieting habits.
Elsewhere in the WWD interview, titled "The Waif that Roared," Kate shares her definition of "beauty."
"It sounds really corny, but I think that if you’re beautiful inside, it shows on the outside for sure," Moss says. "You can be a pretty face, but if you’re not a nice person, it just doesn’t work. I’m not traditionally a beauty, but apparently people think I’m all right. If you’re a nice person, it definitely helps."
