Katherine Heigl must have realized that she would be crazy NOT to be put herself in the Emmy race this year.
After deciding last year that she didn't have enough good material to be worthy of running for the award, the Grey's Anatomy actress has re-entered the run for the gold, no doubt because of her character's meaty cancer story this season.
Still, though, Kat put herself in the supporting actress category, as opposed to lead. Is it to give her better odds of walking away a winner -- or is she modest?
Either way, Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes thinks Katherine has a good shot of winning.
"I think she did beautiful work," Shonda told E! Thursday, after the season finale aired. "I think she always does beautiful work."
So, tell me, do you think Kat's going to have a friend for her 2007 Emmy come this September?
